NOTE - It is not required that you perform any of these tasks; Datatune will manage them for you--but if you'd like to manage administrative functions for your domain, contact support@datatune.com and request a domain-administration account be set up for your company (for security reasons, these accounts are only created upon request).

NOTE - Substitute your domain name in the URL's below (where it says "yourdomain.com"). If you experience a browser security warning when visiting the "8443" addresses below you may either click "advanced" > "proceed..." to ignore the warning, or visit https://host5.datatune.com:8443 instead. The connection will remain encrypted, either way.


Accessing the Administrative Control Panel:

  1. Go to www.yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Login with your full email address and password


Reviewing Mail/Web Traffic Statistics & Server Disk Quotas

  1. Go to www.yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Login with your full email address and password
  3. Click "Statistics"
  4. NOTE - AWStats and Webalyzer are both available, but AWStats is selected by default. Contact support@datatune.com if you'd prefer to use Webalyzer


Creating Mail Users:

  1. Go to www.yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Login with your full email address and password
  3. Click "Mail" > "Create Email Address"


Creating email aliases:

  1. Go to www.yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Login with your full email address and password
  3. Click "Mail" > select the user you wish to add an alias for
  4. Click "Email Aliases"
  5. Enter the new alias
  6. Click "Add email alias". If you wish to add more aliases for this user
  7. Click "OK"


Changing Mail User Passwords:

  1. Go to www.yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Login with your full email address and password
  3. Click "Mail" > select the user you wish to change password/settings for


Deleting Mail Users:

  1. Go to www.yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Login with your full email address and password
  3. Click "Mail" > check the box next to the user(s) you wish to remove
  4. Click "Remove"
  5. Click "Yes" to confirm the removal of the selected user(s)


Creating Webmaster Accounts:

NOTE - The Webmaster role allows users to create new sites and configuring services such as DNS, mail, and FTP. Webmasters cannot, create new users or manage roles. To view/edit webmaster role permissions, click "Users" > "User Roles" > "Webmaster"

  1. Go to www.yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Login with your full email address and password
  3. Click "Users" > "Create User Account"
  4. Complete the form, ensuring "User role" is set to "Webmaster"
  5. Click "OK"


Changing Webmaster Passwords:

  1. Go to www.yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Login with your full email address and password
  3. Click "Users" > click the "Contact name" of the user you'd like to edit
  4. Click "Change Settings"
  5. Enter and confirm the new password
  6. Click "OK"


Deleting Webmaster Accounts:

  1. Go to www.yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Login with your full email address and password
  3. Click "Users" > check the box next to the user(s) you wish to remove
  4. Click "Remove"
  5. Click "Yes" to confirm the removal of the selected user(s)


Installing Wordpress, Joomla or Drupal on your website:

  1. Go to www.yourdomain.com:8443
  2. Login with your full email address and password
  3. Click "Applications"
  4. Click "Install" next to desired app
